Bottoms Up!
Did you know there are three muscles that make up your buttocks? They are the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus. One of the major functions of the “glutes” is to help you stand up straight and tall. You can feel this muscle action when you try to stand and balance on one foot. These muscles also help you to stand up from a stooped position. To help you stand tall and keep your bottom toned and strong, try these exercises, starting with the first and working towards the more challenging one. |
